John Conner is an apparel designer currently located in New York City, with a strong interest in design for the athletic industry. He attended the University of Oregon where he studied architecture within the School of Architecture and Allied Arts (Now know as the College of Design) before transferring to Oregon State University to study apparel design within the College of Buisness Design Program. He has previously lived in Oregon and Boston. He has corporate athletic industry experience, graphic design experience, visual merchandising experience, and some advanced software experience.
Having grown up in the Pacific Northwest, John likes to claim that he was living the "ath-leisure lifestyle" long before the words "ath-leisure" ever graced the pages of WWD or Vogue. Growing up with sport also drove home a deep love and interest in pushing the limits of technology within design - anyone can make a t-shirt, but how can you make it better?
At the core of John's design philosophy is a deep love for bringing meaningful product out to a wide audience. Tell a good story, make a good product.
